  • Job Description Summary: The Manufacturing Systems Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving manufacturing equipment, test systems, and supporting infrastructure.
  • This role ensures high equipment uptime through preventive maintenance, rapid response to downtime events, and continuous improvement of system reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on manufacturing and test equipment
  • Track PM completion, document findings, and update maintenance records
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Support setup, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and systems
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve system performance
  • Support change implementation and configuration updates
  • Maintain connectivity of production equipment (ethernet, basic networking)
  • System & Process Support
  • IT / Network Support (Light Industrial IT)
  • Support system imaging, software updates, and user access as needed

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent repair/maintenance experience in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or technical support in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Escalate complex issues and coordinate with engineering when required
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
