About the role
- Summary: Feldkamp Mechanical is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipefitter to join our dynamic team.
- This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of boiler piping and related equipment, including layout and welding of piping systems for steam, condensate, hydronic, and process piping.
- The role also includes potential boiler repair work, contributing to a variety of industrial and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform pipefitting tasks according to specifications and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion.
- Maintain documentation of work performed and materials used.
- Maintain knowledge of hazard prevention and safety best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at times.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of pipefitting principles and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- frequently lift and carry 25 pounds
- work on ladders, staging or other related equipment
- and work in confined spaces.
- Must use proper LO/TO procedures and wear PPE at all times.
- OHSA 10 Cert
Nice to have
- Experience as a /pipefitter in the HVAC industry preferred
