About the role
- Our US Government lawyers are the legal backbone of Palantir's federal government business and are motivated by our mission to serve government clients.
- As go-to advisors on the contracts that enable Palantir to deploy state-of-the-art technology to solve real-world problems, our goal is to enable US government agency customers to unlock their data and power critical operations.
- Increasingly, that work sits at the intersection of law and policy.
Responsibilities
- Palantir's legal team works closely with the business to proactively address legal issues so that Palantir can continue to drive positive impact across the world.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage and resolve government inquiries.
- Understand Palantir's relationship with its US government customers and provide advice and counsel in support of Palantir's business goals.
Requirements
- Experience with federal policy, government contracting, software licensing, or regulatory compliance - a combination is ideal.
- Familiarity with AI, data, or technology policy debates at the federal level.
- J.D. degree and 3+ years of firm, in-house, or government experience (a combination is even better!).
- Demonstrated ability to propose creative solutions to novel issues.

Compensation
- Salary The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $170,000 - $240,000/year.
Visa & Work Authorization
- Active security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a security clearance
