About the role
- We are seeking an Senior Aerothermodynamics Engineer that will own the Aerodynamic and Aerothermal modeling for a supersonic ramjet system, including inlet, transition mechanism, and nozzle optimization for our new Broomfield, Colorado office, Responsibilities: Perform CFD simulations of inlets, shock trains, isolators, and combustor flow fields. Model
- combustion chemistry and flame holding Conduct conjugate heat transfer analysis for hot structures Generate aerodynamic loads, drag polars, and ramjet performance maps Provide design guidance for duct geometry and structural integration Support wind tunnel testing and data correlation
