About the role
- Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills; demonstrated judgment and initiative in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
Responsibilities
- Designs, documents, and launches the BS/MD application; develops selection criteria and rubrics; leads application testing (UAT), defects tracking, and release; ensures data integrity and secures records handling; drafts templates for notifications and FAQs
- Coordinates and schedules 700+ MD interviews annually and all BS/MD interviews; maintains interviewer rosters and calendars for faculty, students, and community partners; maintains recruitment communications for MD and BS/MD (web, videos, email, phone, listserv, letters, orientation packets)
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience advising undergraduate or professional students on curricula and academic policies
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint/Teams)
- familiarity with survey tools (MS Forms/Qualtrics) and CRM/applicant systems (e.g., Slate, AMP)
Skills
- Knowledge of admissions operations and academic program administration in higher education, preferably medical education
- Understanding of FERPA and sound data stewardship practices; attention to accuracy and confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills including professional phone and email etiquette
- Ability to tailor messages to applicants, families, faculty, and leadership
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt to rapidly changing needs
