About the role

  • As an Account Executive (AE) at Maxima, you will play a key role in driving new business and expanding our reach across enterprise finance organizations.
  • You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close.
  • You will work with CFOs, Controllers, and Accounting leaders to show how Maxima can transform their month-end close into a continuous and autonomous process.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Drive end-to-end sales from lead qualification through close, managing multiple high-value opportunities across mid-market and enterprise segments.
  • Discovery and Solutioning: Understand customer pain points, uncover business needs, and deliver tailored demos and ROI narratives that highlight Maxima's differentiators.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with finance executives, IT, and operations leaders to navigate complex buying processes.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene, activity tracking, and forecasting in CRM tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term customer success.
  • Understand customer pain points, uncover business needs, and deliver tailored demos and ROI narratives that highlight Maxima's differentiators.
  • Build strong relationships with finance executives, IT, and operations leaders to navigate complex buying processes.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term customer success.
  • You will collaborate with leadership, Product, and Marketing to refine our sales playbook, influence product and GTM direction through customer feedback, and help shape how Maxima goes to market.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, ideally within enterprise or mid-market segments.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in complex or consultative sales environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive-level audiences.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple deals simultaneously.
  • Curiosity about AI, automation, and the future of finance, with the drive to help customers adopt new technology.
