About the role
- Maintenance Technician - HVAC are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including but not limited to compressor changeouts, low voltage electrical troubleshooting, condenser and/or supply fan replacement, etc.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, process air-cooled chillers, boilers, plumbing, compressed air systems, dock doors, and other ancillary nonproduction equipment.
- Recommend and implement solutions to HVAC system problems
- Collaborate with engineers, maintenance staff, and other team members on facility projects.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.

Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
- Perform general building maintenance as required such as drywall repair, painting, supply/exhaust fans, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC technician
- Knowledge of heating and cooling systems, including refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and heating pumps
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Proficiency in using industrial tools, testing equipment, and hand tools.
- Ability to work with low to medium voltage systems and in hazardous environments.
