About the role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our Facilities Engineering Team.
- You will also oversee daily operations and maintenance to enhance system quality, reliability, and efficiency, directly supporting the high-precision operations of a semiconductor wafer fab.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will tackle complex engineering challenges, lead improvement projects, review system designs, and manage critical projects on Exhaust and Process Systems.
- These systems are critical to maintaining uninterrupted operations, as they are designed to run 24/7, 365 days a year.
- Provide day-to-day support for operational, maintenance, and engineering issues within Facilities Operations Maintenance (FOM).
- Manage equipment to ensure utilities meet tight quality fab production requirements.
- Support start-up and commissioning of equipment by identifying deficiencies and working with construction to tackle problems. Create start-up step plans to safely start and test equipment before full production.
Requirements
- Possesses knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and systems, including compressors, dryers, fans, heat transfer, and pneumatics.
- Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience.
- Possess excellent time management and priority setting skills while having the ability to effectively advance multiple activities simultaneously and enable on-time project delivery.
- Must be able to coordinate and communicate technical information to and from all levels of the organization.
- Applicants must be authorized to access such information or eligible for government authorization.
Nice to have
- Previous experience with AutoCAD, Revit or similar software is a plus.

- 1st shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Compensation
- The current base salary range for this role is between $76,000 - $145,000.
