Responsibilities
- Supports manufacturing operations (3rd Shift) for injection molding processes, including machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintains consistent product quality by following standardized processes, performing in-process inspections, and identifying defects or process deviations.
Requirements
- Collaborates with engineering and production teams to optimize cycle times, improve yield, and ensure output meets required volume and quality targets.

Skills
- Injection molding machine setup and operation (presses, auxiliaries)
- Process parameter adjustment (temperature, pressure, cycle time)
- Mold installation, changeovers, and preventive care
- Troubleshooting of molding defects (short shots, flash, sink, warp)
- Understanding of resins and material handling (drying, blending)
- Equipment monitoring and OEE awareness
- In-process inspection and basic metrology (calipers, gauges)
- Quality systems compliance (GMP, ISO 13485, documentation practices)
- Safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO)
- Production scheduling awareness and priority execution
- Lean manufacturing principles (5S, waste reduction)
- Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
