About the role

  • JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and forward-looking financial insight to improve profitability, productivity and return on invested capital while supporting execution of corporate strategy and financial objectives.
  • This role typically involves tasks that may require sitting, standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle materials, reaching with arms and hands, and communicating verbally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global controlling and performance management routines across regions and business units
  • Challenge performance gaps and support definition of corrective actions
  • Partner with regional finance teams to improve forecast accuracy and financial discipline
  • Develop scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support business decisions.
  • Document planning assumptions and ensure consistency across Finance, Operations, HR, IT, Sales, and Accounting inputs.
  • Perform variance analysis versus Budget, Forecast, Prior Year, and Strategic Plan
  • Support monthly closing reviews and validation of financial performance
  • Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting packs
  • Provide ad-hoc analytics to support strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and performance improvement plans
  • Drive ONEFinance standards and best practices across global controlling processes

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Performance Management, with 5+ years in a managerial or senior finance leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, working capital, productivity, and key financial performance indicators.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership in a multinational environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and ERP / planning systems.
  • Where required by state law and/or city ordinance
  • Support top-down EBIT alignment and challenge regional submissions where required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration. MBA, Master's Degree, CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.

Compensation

  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews with clear variance commentary
  • Coordinate with regional finance teams to forecast monthly financial results and annual plan.
