About the role

  • The Stadium Corporation is the operating entity of Finley Stadium Davenport Field, the First Horizon Pavilion, and surrounding property.
  • Home to Chattanooga Mocs Football, the Chattanooga Football Club, and the Chattanooga Market, the campus hosts 500,000+ visitors and over 200 events annually.
  • Opened in 1997 as a public-private partnership, Finley Stadium has also hosted the FCS National Championship, US Soccer National Teams, TSSAA Football Championships, concerts, and numerous local and regional events.

Responsibilities

  • Be able to perform physically demanding work for the duration of the work day.
  • Perform janitorial tasks and clean up
  • Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
  • Reporting to the Facility Manager and Assistant Manager, the Facilities Crew supports all aspects of facility maintenance and event production.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • Ability to learn facility maintenance and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages or materials up to 75 pounds.
  • Experience in operating light machinery and working at heights.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Personable, Detail-oriented, Self-starter, Problem-solver, Team player, and ability to present information to internal and external clients.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends.
  • Exceptional people skills, and practices the core value of Put People First.
  • A willingness to be hands-on, learn building skills, and make decisions when Facilities lead on-duty.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team. Be self-motivated and be able to stay on task

Nice to have

  • Forklift certification a plus.
