About the role

  • We are seeking a Quality Engineer with a passion for supplier quality, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • This position involves access to information, systems, technologies and/or hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other applicable U.S. Government export control laws.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will independently translate strategic objectives into tactical execution, build strong supplier partnerships, leverage analytics to proactively identify risk, and drive measurable business results.
  • Join a rapidly growing defense manufacturer where Quality Engineers help shape supplier strategy, influence operational excellence, work directly with leadership and build scalable processes supporting continued business growth.
  • Accordingly, candidates must either be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) or be prepared to collaborate with the company in securing the necessary U.S. government export authorizations.
  • Own supplier quality performance from qualification through production.
  • Develop trusted supplier relationships while driving accountability for quality, delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Lead supplier audits, source inspections and First Article Inspection activities.
  • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure effective technical flow-downs.
  • Drive root cause analysis and supplier development activities.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs and predictive metrics to proactively identify supplier risk.
  • Support APQP, PPAP, FMEA, process capability and process validation activities as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Employment is contingent upon the successful verification of U.S. citizenship and the ability to satisfy all applicable export control and contractual requirements.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 83400.00-155000.00 Is this role subject to ITAR?
