About the role
- Handles pick-ups and deliveries from lab, pharmacy, homecare, referring hospitals, clinics, physician offices and outpatient centers.
- Evaluates and monitors weather conditions throughout shift to preplan for anticipated trips and delays throughout region.
- Provides customer service in an efficient and effective manner to ensure customer satisfaction and quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provides transport and support for Nationwide Children's Hospital, the Department of Laboratory Medicine and their clients.
- Drives NCH provided vehicles for courier routes and on-demand jobs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Valid Ohio driver's license as required by hospital policy.
- Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to use hospital provided cell phone and communication tracking system.
- Physical Requirements:
- 100 lbs or greater with assistance,
Compensation
- $41k-$60k
