- In this role, you will empower Engineering Managers and senior engineers, shape how applied AI is delivered responsibly, and ensure teams consistently translate AI innovation into reliable, customer-impacting products.
Responsibilities
- Multiply Your Impact by leading, mentoring, and developing Engineering Managers and senior engineers, building scalable systems and practices that allow teams to deliver AI-powered solutions consistently and independently
- Own the Outcome for execution across multiple AI engineering teams, ensuring delivery commitments are met, dependencies are actively managed, and teams are accountable for customer-visible impact
- Drive an AI First approach to engineering by embedding AI-powered workflows, agentic systems, and responsible AI practices into how teams design, build, and operate products
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data, Security Research, and other Engineering leaders to align AI engineering efforts with company strategy and customer needs
- Demonstrated experience leading teams with complex dependencies across engineering, product, and non-technical partners
- Experience developing and mentoring Engineering Managers
- Strong technical foundation in modern software systems that support AI-enabled products

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing product engineering teams, including teams delivering AI-powered or data-intensive systems
- Must be able and willing to come to the office once per week (typically Thursdays).

Nice to have
- Familiarity with human-in-the-loop, agentic, or automation-driven workflows
- Experience with technologies in HackerOne's core stack, including PostgreSQL, Rails, GraphQL, Apollo, and React

- $240,000 to $280,000
