About the role
- Nestled at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, just two hours north of Downtown Vancouver, Fairmont Chateau Whistler defines mountain luxury.
- Accounting Generalist The Finance Department of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is looking for a dynamic, organized and collaborative team player.
- Salary Range: $56,000 - $58,200 per annum dependent on experience This position is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Apply payments to the accounts receivables ledger, and perform daily shift closing; ensure all postings are properly coded for the general ledger
- Assist in scanning invoices, bank direct debit and documents to the Centralized Accounting Service Delivery Team, along with other ad hoc duties

Requirements
- To progress with your application, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Provide timely billing of Wedding/Group accounts following invoicing process, while maintaining records of advance deposits, apply as specified or refund as required
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office required (Excel in particular)
Compensation
- $56,000 - $58,200 per annum dependent on experience
