Manage portfolio primarily comprising Structured credit transactions (incl. lending against private equity / illiquid shares / unsecured loans etc.) and Commercial Real Estate transactions
Work with both internal and external auditors to ensure that audits progress smoothly and that any issues raised are resolved promptly and support any ad hoc projects assigned on a regional or global level
Maintain a clean shop with good discipline ensuring trades are properly booked / recorded / covenants and conditions timely monitored / credit terms correctly documented / risk reporting systems contain timely and accurate information
Drive continuous improvement in team processes, analytics, and reporting capabilities
Employee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagement
Review and approve transactions booked under the WM business in US and support the growth of WM's lending book by managing the risk on a portfolio of WM counterparties in US.
Work with the Lending team (1st line of defense) and Relationship Managers to manage risk and try to find an optimal solution especially on challenging asks.
How You'll Lead

liaise with clients (where required).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, MBA

Familiar with legal documentation and risk issues including credit mitigating features.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal skills) with an ability to write concise reports
Have an open mindset and respects challenging views from different stakeholders
Ability to work effectively with wide range of cultures / personal styles and to establish strong partnership with front office staff
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines as well as working with front-office staff in amicable manner

Portfolio coverage includes large and complex structured loans (including lending against unlisted / unrated / illiquid securities) as well as regular Margin Lending, Commercial Real Estate deals etc
Very good with cash flow-based assessment and equity valuation
