About the role

  • As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at LVT, you will be a key architect in the evolution of our hardware-software ecosystem.
  • This role is based in-office out of our Headquarters in American Fork, Utah.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a division of software engineers.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product management, quality assurance, and operations to ensure seamless integration and successful delivery of software products.
  • You will design, build, and test the mission-critical software that powers our intelligent mobile units, ensuring they operate with elite precision in the physical world.
  • Architecture and Design: Collaborate with architects and other senior engineers to design scalable and robust software solutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product management, quality assurance, and operations to ensure seamless integration and successful delivery of software products.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on embedded development.
  • Strong expertise in C and C++.
  • GoLang experience desired.
  • Strong expertise in Embedded Linux, RTOS (Zephyr a plus).
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and familiarity with related tools and processes.
