About the role

MacKay is seeking a full time Manager of Construction Services to join our growing team in Federal Way, WA.

Responsibilities

Able to track status, review and effectively process time sensitive construction documents including change orders, requests for information, submittals, and other documents.
Effectively communicate with the project team including the owner, construction contractor, design team, and project stakeholders.

Requirements

Must be able to walk, lift, carry, stoop, bend, twist and work outdoors on uneven surfaces routinely.
Current driver's license and good driving record required.
Ability to be insured to drive company vehicles required.
At least 5 years of progressive construction management experience with city, county, state or federal heavy civil construction.
Must be safety oriented and have a working knowledge of safety requirements.
Must have proficiency in the following key areas: Word processing, spreadsheet and email software, and higher math (trigonometry and geometry).

Experience in managing remote and field employees is preferred.

Nice to have

Experience with project scheduling software is preferred.
10 years of work experience in construction management, project management, or civil engineering is preferred.
A Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering, construction engineering management or other engineering field is preferred, but not required.

Salaries are based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.

US Pay Range
$120,000 - $135,000 USD
Additionally, employees receive paid vacation and sick time, 11 paid holidays, and are able to participate in employee ownership options.
MacKay pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual performance bonuses.
