About the role
- MacKay is seeking a full time Manager of Construction Services to join our growing team in Federal Way, WA.

Responsibilities
- Able to track status, review and effectively process time sensitive construction documents including change orders, requests for information, submittals, and other documents.
- Effectively communicate with the project team including the owner, construction contractor, design team, and project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Must be able to walk, lift, carry, stoop, bend, twist and work outdoors on uneven surfaces routinely.
- Current driver's license and good driving record required.
- Ability to be insured to drive company vehicles required.
- At least 5 years of progressive construction management experience with city, county, state or federal heavy civil construction.
- Must be safety oriented and have a working knowledge of safety requirements.
- Must have proficiency in the following key areas: Word processing, spreadsheet and email software, and higher math (trigonometry and geometry).

- Experience in managing remote and field employees is preferred.

Nice to have
- Experience with project scheduling software is preferred.
- 10 years of work experience in construction management, project management, or civil engineering is preferred.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering, construction engineering management or other engineering field is preferred, but not required.

- US Pay Range
- $120,000 - $135,000 USD
- Additionally, employees receive paid vacation and sick time, 11 paid holidays, and are able to participate in employee ownership options.
- MacKay pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual performance bonuses.
