About the role
- This position is responsible for acting as sponsor for the health of the plant systems.
- Oversee monitoring, trending, and evaluation of plant systems, driving near- and long-term performance improvements.
- Direct and prioritize daily work activities of individual contributors to meet plant, outage, and regulatory commitments.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line leadership and supervision for the Plant Support Engineering team, ensuring alignment with plant priorities and safe, reliable operation.
- Facilitate the effective engagement of assigned Engineers to optimize performance of the team's systems in support of maximized station efficiency.
- Represent Plant Support Engineering on outage management teams and cross-functional plant forums.
- Develop and manage corrective and improvement action plans, ensuring timely completion and effective resolution of plant performance issues.
- Manage assigned budget and resource utilization, ensuring engineering activities are completed efficiently and in support of department and site goals.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Electrical Engineering preferred.
