- This job will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing and logistics operations by managing inventory, processing shipments, and ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading and process materials against purchase orders and work orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderly storage conditions in the warehouse.
- Perform cycle audits and physical inventory counts
- Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for material handling.
- Collaborate with logistics and manufacturing teams to resolve or prevent material shortages.
- Perform cycle audits and physical inventory counts; reconcile discrepancies and report findings.
- While shifts do not rotate, candidates should maintain flexibility for 1-2 hours of overtime as needed to support production and shipping demands.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or related field.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics and ability to use hand tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Knowledge of inventory systems and material management software.
- Familiarity with shipping logistics and documentation.
- Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Extended periods of standing and sitting.
- Ability to lift/carry materials up to 40 pounds.
- Flexibility to work extended or off-hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
