About the role
- The KVP Energy Services Fleet Mechanic is the repairs, service and maintenance of KVP's vehicles.
- This position requires 24-hour emergency on call scheduling availability.
- Use the fleet management software Fleetio to keep track of the maintenance of fleet in shop.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of repair performed on vehicles.
Requirements
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time required.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or GED
- technical automotive trade certification preferred.
- 5+ years of direct experience as a mechanic.
- 2+ years wire and stick welding
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Required Commercial Driving License (CDL)
- Familiar with part vendors
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Troubleshooting electrical
