  • Wachter is accepting applications for Low Voltage Project Technicians for project work at various locations across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Installing of cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
  • Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign.
  • We design, install, and maintain the technologies that keep businesses operating efficiently.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Data Cable Technician.
  • Must hold a current valid State required license(s) for low voltage/burglar alarm/fire alarm/security/CCTV.
  • Experience reading blueprints and site maps.
  • Ability to work in cramped spaces.
  • Experience working with Copper and Fiber.
  • Ability to operate a BOOM or scissor lift, and ability to work at heights.
  • Must have knowledge of cabling infrastructure.
  • Highly proficient with the use of email, spreadsheets, and the ability to learn internal systems.
  • Per-Diem paid when overnight travel is required
  • Drive time and mileage paid for use of personal vehicle when travel is required

Nice to have

  • Experience in CCTV, Voice, and Fire Alarm cabling is a plus.
  • Experience in conduit installation is a plus.
