About the role
- Streck is looking for a detail-oriented White Blood Cell Technician 1 to join our Operations team.
- You'll work hands-on in a climate-controlled clean room laboratory, following precise procedures to wash, treat, and prepare cell material while ensuring every batch meets strict sterility and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform final counts and scans, and interpret technical data for component material.
- Complete accurate, legible, and timely documentation to support full material traceability.
- Maintain a clean, aseptic lab environment, including proper handwashing and clean room protocol.
- Collaborate with other departments on scheduling, inventory, and production problem-solving.

Requirements
- Comfort with mathematical calculations and interpreting technical/numeric data.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following documented procedures precisely.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills, with clear written and verbal communication.
- Willingness to work safely with biological and chemical materials and to follow FDA/ISO regulatory requirements.
- Work Environment
- You'll work in a climate-controlled biological/chemical laboratory, with occasional short visits to walk-in coolers. The role requires wearing lab clean room attire (lab coat, hair bonnet, and beard cover as applicable) and other protective equipment such as masks, gloves, and face shields for up to two and a half hours at a stretch. This is an in-person, on-site laboratory position with minimal to no travel required.
- Physical Requirements
- This role involves medium physical activity - occasionally lifting/moving up to 40 lbs and frequently up to 20 lbs - along with standing for extended periods, walking, reaching, and fine motor tasks like pipetting and handling lab instruments.
