About the role

Our Senior Reliability Engineer will leverage their deep engineering expertise to ensure that our renewable energy projects operate properly during their expected lifespan.
They will utilize real time SCADA data, historical asset performance, and their expertise in engineering solutions.
Their engineering knowledge will assist them with implementing new technical projects and processes to shape fleet-wide initiatives.

Developing and documenting processes to increase the efficiency of our work.
Maintaining, developing and supporting standard processes to improve generation, availability, and overall performance.
Implement solutions.
Provide ad-hoc analysis and troubleshooting to support our internal and external stakeholders.
Respectful and appreciative colleagues with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering positive relationships across organizational boundaries to deliver on shared team goals.

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electromechanical engineering, or similar/equivalent.
3+ years of experience in renewable energy, or substantive knowledge of renewable energy operations and engineering.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Experience with First Solar modules, Sungrow inverters, and/or Tesla battery storage systems.
Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, electrical testing equipment, and electrical troubleshooting.
Experience with PlantPredict or PVSyst Experience with Weibulls or other statistical methods of analyzing failure and reliability Proficiency with Python, R, and SQL.
