About the role
- Our Senior Reliability Engineer will leverage their deep engineering expertise to ensure that our renewable energy projects operate properly during their expected lifespan.
- They will utilize real time SCADA data, historical asset performance, and their expertise in engineering solutions.
- Their engineering knowledge will assist them with implementing new technical projects and processes to shape fleet-wide initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Developing and documenting processes to increase the efficiency of our work.
- Maintaining, developing and supporting standard processes to improve generation, availability, and overall performance.
- Implement solutions.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and troubleshooting to support our internal and external stakeholders.
- Respectful and appreciative colleagues with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering positive relationships across organizational boundaries to deliver on shared team goals.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electromechanical engineering, or similar/equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in renewable energy, or substantive knowledge of renewable energy operations and engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Nice to have
- Experience with First Solar modules, Sungrow inverters, and/or Tesla battery storage systems.
- Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, electrical testing equipment, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with PlantPredict or PVSyst Experience with Weibulls or other statistical methods of analyzing failure and reliability Proficiency with Python, R, and SQL.
