About the role
- JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company.
- SUMMARY: The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing end-to-end processes and operations within the branch location.
- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: - The incumbent will directly and/or indirectly supervise up to 50 employees.
Responsibilities
- Optimize branch transactions, increase sales and decrease costs.
- Optimize staffing productivity to assume best use of all resources.
- Develop and expand customer relationships together with sales.
Requirements
- Proven leadership and people management experience, including recruitment, training and development, coaching, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both open and confidential settings.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel will be (up to 20%) required in support of the position's responsibilities.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of managerial experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the freight forwarding industry.
- Strong financial acumen, experience managing P&L.
- Experience across air, ocean, and supply chain/logistics operations.
- Knowledge of market dynamics, competitors, trends, and challenges within the freight forwarding industry.
- Experience with CargoWise is a plus.
- Additional international language skills are a plus.
