About the role
- Felsburg Holt & Ullevig is seeking an entrepreneurial, self-starting Senior Engineer to join the Water Resources team in our Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska office.
- This role will also include managing a small group of engineers and designers, providing mentorship, and supporting career growth.
- Business development and marketing will also be expected in this role.
Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will lead drainage and floodplain design supporting transportation projects and manage other water resources related projects.
- Stormwater quality and detention design including post-construction best management practices (BMPs) recommended by NDOT and local agencies, construction BMPs for sediment and erosion control, and familiarity with MS4 permit requirements.
- Floodplain analysis including HEC-RAS modeling to support floodplain development permit documentation and preparation of CLOMR and LOMR applications to FEMA.
- Support construction projects by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting field visits to verify compliance with contract drawings and specifications.

Requirements
- Master's degree is a plus.
Compensation
- Compensation The pay for this position has a range of $120,000 to $160,000 annually.
