About the role
- These integrations are at the forefront of innovation in our sector, enabling automated customer validation, association of devices to electric grid locations, and improved forecasting, control, and reporting to utilities.
- We help consumers turn their smart thermostats, EVs, batteries, and other products into virtual power plants that keep the grid stable and enable higher penetration of solar and wind power.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- To be impactful in this role, you have a strong technical skill set, are highly organized, and are an excellent communicator.
Nice to have
- Provision access to API docs, sandbox environments, testing procedures to ensure full understanding of the integration process
- Ensure successful integrations and launches by coordinating with external cross-functional counterparts, specifically program management, engineering, product teams
- Experience in demand response, API integrations, and communication protocols (e.g., IEEE 2030.5, OpenADR)
- Experience with REST API architecture, status codes, authentication
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues/needs in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to influence and advocate change
- Experience with cloud-based SaaS products
- Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in technical program management, product management, developer relations, or related roles
- Energy industry preferred, particularly demand side or DER management

- Base Salary Range
- $115,000 - $135,000 USD
- New employees can expect to be given real responsibility for bringing new technologies to the marketplace.
