About the role
- Tasks also include working with other Maintenance and Operations personnel to troubleshoot and repair process related challenges.
Responsibilities
- Ability to safely perform essential functions of this job including work in industrial/manufacturing environment (climbing ladders, walking distances, working at heights on platforms, work in tight or close spaces, etc.)
- Understand, analyze and troubleshoot PLC control logic; troubleshoot and repair AC and DC drive systems; familiarity with Allen Bradley, GE and ABB preferred.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and engineering and electrical code specifications as well as read and interpret technical manuals.
- 2 year degree in Electrical or Instrument Technology or equivalent technical experience or apprenticeship required.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong math skills essential.
