  • This position is available in DLB's Mission Critical Department and focuses primarily on hyperscale data centers and related mission critical facilities.
  • Will coordinate activities of other personnel.
  • Assists in the development of policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Lead Electrical Engineer, Mission Critical will have the opportunity to collaborate with all design staff and oversee full cycle electrical design activities for commercial building design and construction.
  • Essential Functions Lead Electrical Engineering Design Activities (40%) Serve as the technical authority for complex mission critical electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Establish design strategies supporting highly resilient electrical systems for hyperscale data centers and other mission critical environments.
  • Build long-term relationships with hyperscale, enterprise, and mission critical clients while serving as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure technology solutions align with DLB standards for data security, privacy, and operational integrity.
  • This person will work as part of the Engineering Team and interact closely with organizational leadership to develop and edit project specifications and lead design development efforts.
  • The Senior Lead Electrical Engineer, Mission Critical will be self-directed on day-to-day work and independently performs most responsibilities.
  • Will lead project teams and projects of complex scope and broader programs.
  • The Senior Lead Electrical Engineer, Mission Critical will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.
