About the role

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist with strong software engineering skills to join the Biometrics and Data Management group.
  • Enhance the existing platforms by contributing to the development, validation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and reliability of analytical solutions through software engineering best practices (e.g., testing, documentation, CI/CD pipeline).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate data science tools for clinical research, and trial optimization.
  • Structure Therapeutics develops life‐changing medicines for patients using advanced structure‐based and computational drug discovery technology.
  • The company's platform combines the latest advancements in visualization of molecular interactions, computational chemistry, and data integration to design orally available, superior small molecule medicines that overcome current limitations of biologic and peptide drugs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of Data Science experience with a Bachelor's degree, 8 years with a Master's, or 4 years with a Ph.D., including at least 3 years of hands-on experience developing production-grade software in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Demonstrated understanding of software architecture, performance optimization and validation.
  • Strong expertise in Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
  • Familiar with data visualization tools such as ggplot2. Plotly, Matplotlib or Seaborn.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced with Github.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud-computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
  • Experience with creating Large Language Models (LLMs) and GenAI based solution in production environment.
  • Experienced in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Travel Required: Connection week

Compensation

  • For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $148K-$182K.
