About the role
- STS Aerospace is a leading aerospace manufacturing and engineering company specializing in fluid conveyance solutions for commercial aviation, defense, and space applications.
- Manufacturing Engineer is accountable for improving and maintaining first pass yield for specified parts and/or processes.
- This is accomplished by driving continuous improvement initiatives, process development/modification, documentation of standards/best practices, and equipment onboarding/troubleshooting.
Nice to have
- Documentation and standardization of processes via work instructions and operating instructions to increase efficiency, facilitate cross-training and enable proper equipment usage.
- Basic troubleshooting, light-level repair and/or export of CNC Machines, inspection equipment and tools
- Effective communication with production employees, management staff and cross-functional team to ensure the alignment of efforts to meet company goals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented team environment.
- Excellent team player with a great attitude.
- 1-3 years of experience required, manufacturing preferred. (CI, mistake proofing experience a plus)
- Candidate should like working in shop floor environment with people
- Successful candidate must be able to communicate across a wide variety of disciplines and personalities.
