About the role

  • You'll be an early hire for our revenue accounting function, which will give you the opportunity to make an outsized impact, setting us up for success for our next stage of growth.

  • You'll work closely with Billing, Financial Systems, and FP&A leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Financial Systems to ensure accurate transactional data flow between Salesforce and NetSuite, including reviewing approval workflows and data integrity controls
  • Work with FP&A to reconcile ARR to recognized revenue, explain variances, and support forecasting
  • Own NetSuite ARM configuration and revenue recognition schedules
  • Prepare audit-ready documentation and support external auditors on revenue-related requests
  • Leverage AI to build automation for establishing scalable revenue accounting processes as the function grows
  • Lead the Future of Dentistry.
  • Overjet is looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager, reporting to our Director of Accounting, to own ASC 606 compliance, contract review, and SaaS revenue reporting from the ground up.
  • You'll have the opportunity to modernize our controls and approval workflows, shape how revenue partners with Billing, Systems, and FP&A, and transform how the function runs as we scale.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with meaningful exposure to SaaS revenue accounting
  • Experience using NetSuite or a similar ERP system
  • Strong working knowledge of ASC 606
  • Experience preparing technical accounting memos
  • CPA required
  • Comfortable partnering cross-functionally with Billing, Systems, and FP&A teams
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Self-starter who's energized by building and improving processes by leveraging AI

  • Public accounting background strongly preferred
  • Experience with SaaS revenue recognition strongly preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce and CRM-to-ERP data flows strongly preferred

Compensation

  • Own the end-to-end revenue recognition process in compliance with ASC 606, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across monthly, quarterly, and annual close
