About the role
- May be responsible for routine checks and testing on emergency power generator systems.
- Inspects, tests and replaces electrical lighting, power circuits, and equipment.
- Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment, using testing instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, and voltmeter.
Responsibilities
- Will perform inspections, cleaning and repairs to basic plumbing systems including but not limited to ice machines, toilets, sinks, showers, fountains, and drains. Installs and repairs minor pipes, fittings, fixtures, and tests systems for leaks.
- This position frequently performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all HVAC systems within a hospital or satellite building.
- Maintains and keeps maintenance tools and related equipment clean, orderly, and in good working condition at all times.
Requirements
- Drives hospital vehicles on hospital campus, to satellite facilities, and throughout the surrounding area to perform job duties, deliver and pick up repair parts. *A valid US driver's license required.
Nice to have
- Three years of hands-on experience in industrial or commercial maintenance setting.
