About the role

  • Hazel needs a Business Development Representative who can consistently generate and qualify pipeline in the hundreds of thousands of dollars per month.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify and route leads: run first-touch discovery, assess fit, and schedule next steps with AEs.
  • Create a great buyer experience: thoughtful follow-ups, clear next steps, and fast response times - especially on inbound.
  • Operate with rigor: maintain clean CRM data, track activity, and improve conversion through feedback loops with Product, Sales and Marketing.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with CRM and sales tooling (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot + sales engagement tools).

Nice to have

  • Experience selling into a defined ICP (SMB/MM/Enterprise) and partnering closely with AEs on account strategy.
  • Comfort using intent signals and AI tools to personalize outreach and improve conversion.

Compensation

  • This role has a target OTE of $105,000, combining base salary and variable incentive compensation. Final compensation is individualized and based on experience and qualifications. Equity and benefits are included for full-time employees.
