Responsibilities
- Promote and drive safety daily in the workplace, crafting a safe work environment for associates
- Increase and maintain high levels of associate engagement throughout the operation
- Drive high levels of quality in customer shipments, inventory integrity within the building
- Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training, and providing professional development for all associates
- Lead and oversee associates performing activities including unloading and stocking of inbound shipments, order picking, packaging, shipping of outbound orders and cycle counting.
- Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to management
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in Warehouse management leading 15+ employees in a large distribution/warehouse environment
- Must have leadership experience in managing and developing a team, mentoring, coaching, training, and performance management
- Phenomenal interactive communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to different levels of the organization
- Previous experience working in a WMS environment is required
- Strong computer skills to include expertise in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
- Ability to work with people and build an environment that is positive and engaging for the associates
- Material Handling Equipment Certification
- Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations
- $5,692.50 - $12,402.50 -
Nice to have
- Experience managing a team of delivery drivers is a plus
Compensation
- $5,692.50 - $12,402.50 -
- Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
- This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
- Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
- The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
