About the role

As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance and Accounting Department.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, expense verification, and invoice reconciliation.
Additionally, you will contribute to project accounting tasks, supporting the overall objectives of the Finance Department.

Support project billing activities by preparing customer invoices and monitoring billings against project budgets and contractual milestones
Collaborate with finance and operational teams across other regions, providing accounting support and contributing to shared priorities as needed
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting reporting and month-end deadlines

At least three years of professional accounting experience, ideally within a project-based, construction, engineering, energy, or similarly fast-paced environment

Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and confidence working with financial systems, reports, and large data sets
Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Experience using SAP is considered an asset
Professional proficiency in Portuguese is strongly preferred
