About the role
- As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance and Accounting Department.
- Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, expense verification, and invoice reconciliation.
- Additionally, you will contribute to project accounting tasks, supporting the overall objectives of the Finance Department.
Responsibilities
- Support project billing activities by preparing customer invoices and monitoring billings against project budgets and contractual milestones
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams across other regions, providing accounting support and contributing to shared priorities as needed
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting reporting and month-end deadlines

Requirements
- At least three years of professional accounting experience, ideally within a project-based, construction, engineering, energy, or similarly fast-paced environment
Skills
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and confidence working with financial systems, reports, and large data sets
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Experience using SAP is considered an asset
- Professional proficiency in Portuguese is strongly preferred

Compensation
- $80,000 - $90,000 + annual bonus
- Support the annual operating plan process, monthly management reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis as required
