Responsibilities

  • Performs Role of Transplant and Cellular Therapy Clinical Program Specialist
  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary tumor board.
  • Collaborates with the navigation team and leadership to optimize processes and metrics.
  • Adheres to UAMS Code of conduct and Department policies. Adopts practices to improve work process, enhance guest satisfaction and reduce waste. Serves as resource person to support department members in performances of duties

Requirements

  • Required Documents to Apply:
  • Associate's degree in nursing, Diploma RN, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Nursing plus 3 years Registered Nurse experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program.
  • Valid Registered Nursing License
  • Basic skills with Microsoft programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong work ethics and accountability.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant Registered Nursing experience in Oncology or
  • Minimum of 5 years in patient navigation/coordination
  • National Certification - AONN or OCN or Oncology related certification
  • Knowledgeable with EPIC EMR

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Evaluates the needs and coordinates the care of the patient through the continuum of care by ensuring patient needs are met.
