About the role

Title: Geotechnical Engineer Location: Seattle, WA Job Type: Regular Full-time What's the Opportunity?

Attend project meetings, develop scope of work documents, and prepare proposals for engineering projects.
Perform and/or oversee technical analyses and calculations, develop recommendations and prepare reports for engineering projects.
Assist with development and review of design documents and supporting deliverables including engineering drawings and calculations, technical specifications, and opinions of probable cost.
Perform task management, including team assignments and coordination, contractor management, develop budgets and schedules for projects, and manage their successful completion.
Develop and execute field investigation and laboratory testing plans at upland and in-water project sites (position may require travel and/or field work for up to approximately 20-30%, depending on project needs

What's the Opportunity?
Anchor QEA is seeking a geotechnical engineer with 5 to 10+ years of experience to support existing clients and help expand our geotechnical, environmental, civil, and water resources engineering practices.
The position presents an opportunity for the candidate to expand their leadership and mentorship responsibilities and apply their engineering experience to challenging new technical problems.
The position will also include opportunities for increasing task and project management responsibilities, along with mentorship of technical engineering staff.
Project/task management and client management experience is also a plus.
BS degree from an accredited program in Civil Engineering (a M.S. degree is preferred)
