About the role
- The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing systems, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Identify root causes of production defects and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with quality teams to maintain compliance with industry and company standards.
- Process Design and Optimization
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Design layouts for equipment, workflows, and workstations to enhance production capacity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with design and R&D teams to transition new products into production.
- Support release of documentation to manufacturing for NPI
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent required and minimum
- 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or a related role.
- Education and Experience
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience with MES, and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, such as machining, sheet metal, injection molding, or assembly.
- Experience with data analysis and supporting tools (e.g. Excel, or MATLAB)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills needed for both in person and remote interactions
- Ability to manage multiple projects and associated tasks
- Regulatory compliance (ISO 13485) experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

Compensation
- The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $103,200.00 - $161,250.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits.
