About the role

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify root causes of production defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to maintain compliance with industry and company standards.
  • Process Design and Optimization
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Design layouts for equipment, workflows, and workstations to enhance production capacity and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with design and R&D teams to transition new products into production.
  • Support release of documentation to manufacturing for NPI

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent required and minimum
  • 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or a related role.
  • Education and Experience

Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Experience with MES, and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, such as machining, sheet metal, injection molding, or assembly.
  • Experience with data analysis and supporting tools (e.g. Excel, or MATLAB)
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills needed for both in person and remote interactions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and associated tasks
  • Regulatory compliance (ISO 13485) experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

Compensation

  • The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $103,200.00 - $161,250.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits.
