Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in daily Clean-in-Place (CIP) and manual cleaning activities.
  • Perform facility cleaning, including floors, drains, overheads, walls, and production support areas.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to sanitation, safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to walk throughout the plant, to include walking and climbing up/downstairs.
  • Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
  • Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization.
  • Sensory: Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
  • Mental/Reasoning: Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization.
  • Complete required sanitation documentation accurately and on time.

Nice to have

  • Previous sanitation or manufacturing experience required
  • food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with CIP systems and production equipment preferred.
  • Related Experience: Previous sanitation or manufacturing experience required

  • Physical: Must be able to walk throughout the plant, to include walking and climbing up/downstairs.
  • Must have be ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and must be able to wear a respirator required.
