Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in daily Clean-in-Place (CIP) and manual cleaning activities.
- Perform facility cleaning, including floors, drains, overheads, walls, and production support areas.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to sanitation, safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to walk throughout the plant, to include walking and climbing up/downstairs.
- Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
- Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization.
- Sensory: Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
- Mental/Reasoning: Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization.
- Complete required sanitation documentation accurately and on time.
Nice to have
- Previous sanitation or manufacturing experience required
- food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with CIP systems and production equipment preferred.
- Related Experience: Previous sanitation or manufacturing experience required

- Must consent background screening, drug screening.
- Physical: Must be able to walk throughout the plant, to include walking and climbing up/downstairs.
- Must have be ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and must be able to wear a respirator required.

- Ensure completion of the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual sanitation tasks.
