Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots various systems including electrical, drive train, HVAC, brake, engine and suspension
  • Identifies needed repairs and performs corrective actions
  • Maintains repair order write-ups to include detailed repair description, cause of failure and correction/repair used

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of mechanic experience
  • CDL Class A required
  • Travel is required for this position and is under 25%.
  • Valid Drivers License with clean driving record

  • The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will work in shop and travel to job sites to ensure the repair and maintenance of equipment.
  • Working with the Shop Manager and other team members, this is a crucial part of making sure Fessler & Bowman's business runs smoothly.
