About the role

  • TL;DR The next wave of stablecoin adoption is payments.

Responsibilities

  • Own the test harness for our core systems: integration tests, formal verification, and chaos testing across the ledger, netting algorithm, money movement, and payment ordering.
  • Build correctness guarantees that let the rest of the team ship faster. If we can prove it's right, we can move with confidence.
  • Design and build internal tools that amplify our productivity.
  • Own CI/CD pipelines, dev environments, and deployment infrastructure. Make the path from code to production fast, safe, and boring.
  • We sell trust - trust is easy to lose. Security and integrity are our foundation. Use every interaction and every product as an opportunity to build trust. This is non-negotiable.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, developer tooling, infrastructure, or reliability engineering.

Nice to have

  • You reason naturally about state, ordering, idempotency, failure modes, and consistency in distributed systems.
  • Experience with formal verification, property-based testing, or chaos engineering is a big plus, especially if you've spent time with tools like Temporal or TigerBeetle.
  • You thrive in ambiguity, viewing a lack of specificity as an opportunity for ownership.
  • Be offended by the status quo - a payment taking 3 days and costing 3% is offensive.
  • Every day that people interact with legacy financial infrastructure costs humanity time and money.
  • Bring the future forward with righteous indignation.
  • Be all over it - operate with extreme urgency and accountability.
  • Know the numbers, meet the right people, answer every email, go the extra mile.
