About the role

- This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations: Atlantic Fields, set outside of West Palm Beach, FL.
- Atlantic Fields is seeking a Golf Services Attendant to join the Golf Operations Department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain clean shuttles, club carts, and personal golf carts throughout the day.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or golf-related environment.
- Long hours may be required due to business demands.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
- Additional Requirements
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and terminology is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

- The Golf Services Attendant will interact with golfers of all skill levels and provide assistance with various aspects of their experience, from equipment handling to preparing for their round of golf.
- In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.
- Greet members upon arrival and departure on the practice facility.
- Assist with service during their golf round and promptly respond to any player requests.
- Work in conjunction with valet team and assist as needed.
- Ensure an adequate number of carts are staged and ready for use at all times.
- Clean all players clubs (to include members, guests, and prospects) before and after each round.
