About the role
- Overview The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) is seeking a full-time, in-person research assistant to work with our healthcare and budget policy experts.
- These experts study a wide variety of issues pertaining to healthcare policy, the federal budget, and entitlement program reform.
- The anticipated start date for this position is as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Support research through data retrieval and analysis.
- Create and format charts, graphic displays, and tables.
- Provide administrative support for scholars.

Requirements
- The employee must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
- The employee must be able to work in a confined area.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Excel in required
- proficiency in Stata and R is preferred.
Compensation
- The salary range for this full-time, exempt position is $50,000-$54,000.
- Salary is just one component of AEI's total compensation package for employees.
