Responsibilities
- Write, rewrite and/or edit technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications.
- Develop, update, and integrate remove and replace procedures within technical orders and maintenance manuals.
Requirements
- Must have an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
- Principal Level: 5 Years with Bachelors
- 3 Years with Masters
- 1 Year with PhD.
- 4 additional years of experience required in lieu of a degree.
- Sr Principal Level: 8 Years with Bachelors
- 6 Years with Masters
- 4 Years with PhD.
- Ability to travel up to 10% CONUS AND OCONUS
- Knowledge of industry practices and standards for the development of technical and operations manuals
Nice to have
- Experienced in creating multi-configuration, multi-effectivity indentured parts lists from engineering and LSA data
- Ability to identify and possibly work around limited available engineering and LSA data
- Experienced with Isometric IPB graphics and layout
- Experienced in creating and revising IPB's using MIL-DTL-38807 or MIL-PRF-38807
- Experience with AGILE, SCRUM, DevOps
- Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

Compensation
- $77,800.00 - $116,800.00
- $97,100.00 - $145,700.00
- Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
- Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
