Responsibilities

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) support
  • Supports hospital registration processes, performs, and enforces all activities which involve the placement and movement of patients, monitoring efficient transfers and discharges.
  • Maintain accuracy in documentation of death certificates and morgue throughput.
  • Collaborates with other departments, physicians, and administration for optimizing bed usage and to ensure placement efficiency.
  • Assesses admissions for appropriateness and collaborates with others for optimal plans in compliance with payers and inpatient criteria.

Requirements

  • Applicants may be required to furnish proof of vaccination.

Compensation

  • $19.64 - $25.65 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Benefits

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within a healthcare environment.
  • Can include insurers or public health setting as well.
  • At least 3 years' experience in patient registration and/or eligibility and benefits.
  • Some college or post HS education preferred.
