About the role

  • The Co-op will join a team supporting Wellington Leaders, with exposure to the financial services industry.
  • In this role, the Co-op will assist with a mix of ongoing initiatives and short-term projects related to investment operations, governance, documentation, and research.
  • This position provides hands-on experience across different stages of fund and transaction lifecycles and offers a valuable opportunity to gain insight into how a global investment management firm operates.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with data entry, database population, and document management
  • The Co-op will collaborate with a broad range of internal stakeholders, including Investment Management, Operations, and Investment Administration, and may also interact with external partners.

Requirements

  • Strong academic credentials are required.
  • This role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, given the project-based nature of the work. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive tasks.
  • A strong candidate will demonstrate professionalism, intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm for learning, and an interest in financial markets. A sense of humor and a collaborative mindset are valued.
  • Strong academic credentials are required. A background or interest in business, finance, economics, or related fields is preferred. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Please note: This co-op position includes cross-training to support learning across functions. The anticipated start date for accepted candidates is June 2026.
