Requirements
- 6+ years in product development, robotics, or a related field - ideally somewhere fast-paced and startup-like
- Product execution experience in consumer products or consumer robotics
- A record of shipping robust, elegant solutions to hard engineering problems, leading projects, and mentoring engineers
- Strong mechanical engineering and physics fundamentals: mechanical design, kinematics, dynamics, fluid mechanics
- Working command of robotics fundamentals - sensing, actuation, motion planning, controls, embedded systems - enough to guide and evaluate a technical team
- Hands-on familiarity with electronics, test equipment, and robotics components: sensors, motors, motor drivers, batteries, PCBAs, embedded controllers
- Excellent CAD skills
- BS, MS, or BA in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar)
- How you work
- You break complex problems down to first principles, build a plan, and execute fail-fast - progress over perfection. You chase down potential problems before they surface and take ownership of fixing them. You explain technical work clearly to non-technical colleagues. You argue for your ideas hard, and you let your ideas get argued with.
- This role is on-site in Needham, MA - the work is hands-on with product and prototypes.

Compensation
- $97,500 - $135,000 USD
