About the role
- Overall Responsibility for a Plant within the regional fleet.
- Overall responsibility for a Plant site within the fleet.
- Effectively administers company policies, labor agreements and work rules.
Responsibilities
- Develops/manages Capital and O&M budgets to meet financial objectives.
- Collaborates with applicable internal and external business partners.
- Represents Vistra in legal or community affairs as necessary to support and protect Company interests and to ensure good relations with local governments, school districts, civic groups, law enforcement agencies and the media.
- Selects, develops, and manages a diverse work force.
- Manage overall human resources related activities.
- Manage the coordination of short and long-range planning for safe and efficient scheduled and forced outages.
Requirements
- Ten (10) years of proven supervisory/management experience
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and high standards performance
- Knowledge of company policies, values, and objectives and demonstrated experience in accomplishing these objectives and implementing company policies
- Requires high degree of problem-solving skills
- Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
