- In this role, you will play a key part in supporting research and development by designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and ensuring the optimal performance of laboratory equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute laboratory experiments in accordance with established protocols and best practices
- Operate and maintain a wide range of laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research initiatives and product development projects
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and repeatability of test results
- Maintain meticulous records of experiments, results, and equipment maintenance activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Nice to have
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory or HVAC testing environment preferred
- Knowledge of advanced environmental control methods for HVAC product preferred testing, including temperature, humidity, and airflow management
Skills
- Proficient in operating and maintaining laboratory instruments and HVAC test equipment
- Experience with PLC programming for automated test systems and equipment control
- Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights
- Skilled in experimental design and statistical analysis techniques
- Proficiency with laboratory software, data acquisition systems, and data management tools
- Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and industry standards
- Awareness of HVAC-specific testing practices and standards
- Core Competencies:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
